An Hour in the Presence of Understanding

عندما أتحدث عن الفهم أرى ألوان الطيف تعتلي الآفاق حولي.
When I talk about understanding, I see a spectrum of colors pervading the vistas around me
الفهم يقول: " أنا الخلية الطاهرة النقية التي تُصلح جوهر البشرية"
Understanding says: I am the pure seed that reforms the essence of humanity
الفهم أقوى من النظريات والقوانين والأعراف
Understanding is mightier that theories, laws, and traditions
إن إدراك أخطاءنا في فهم عالمنا هو الطريق القويم إلى مدن السعادة
The realization of our errors, in our attempt to understand our world, is the straight path to the cities of happiness
الفهم ينمي ملكاتنا ومهاراتنا ويمنع ظلمنا للآخرين
Understanding develops our faculties and skills and prevents us from mistreating others

والفهم شغف العبقرية
Understanding is the infatuation of genius
السلام الذاتي يتحقق بالفهم
Inner peace is attained by understanding
هل يمكن أن نتقابل يوما ما في ضوء مصابيح الفهم؟
Can we meet someday under the lamplight of understanding
السلام الحقيقي يأتي رافعا رايات الفهم
True peace comes holding high the banners of understanding
الإبداع الحقيقي يبدأ بالفهم ثم إدراك القضايا ثم معرفة الأسباب
Genuine creativity begins with understanding, then the realization of matters, followed by knowledge of the causes
إذا أدركت الأسباب، لن تعدم الوسائل
Once causes are realized, means will not lack
لا يفهم معاناة الآخرين إلا صادق الإيمان
Only a person of true faith will understand the suffering of others
كل ما تقدمه إلى الأغبياء من مهارات، يدخرونه في صناديق النزوات
Whatever skills you offer to empty-headed people, they store in the boxes of whimsical desires
المعرفة متاحة حتى للأغبياء، وتظل قضية الفهم هي المحك
Knowledge is available even to the unintelligent people; however, the issue of understanding remains the criterion
